SHONAI SPECIAL was born from a collaboration between a passionate Dutch outdoor enthusiast living in Yamagata’s Shonai region and a local persimmon farmer eager to find new ways to enjoy this traditional fruit. Driven by a shared vision to make Shonai’s rich, nutritious natural foods more accessible, we crafted our all-natural energy bars using locally sourced ingredients like sprouted brown rice and Shonai persimmons.
